- Face capture platform size: 8 ft by 8 ft (243.8 cm x 243.8 cm)
- Size of outer rotating ring: 23.75 in (60.3 cm) inner radius, 34.5 in (87.0 cm) outer radius, for a ring width of 10.5 in (26.7 cm)
- Size of inner rotating ring: 35.25 in (89.5 cm) inner radius, 45.375 in (115.3 cm) outer radius, for a ring width of 13.125 in (33.3 cm)
- Vertical background surface: 4 ft wide by 2 ft high (121.9 cm x 61.0 cm) located 20.5 in (52.1 cm) behind the center of the platform. Two vertical supports, with the bottom of background at 40.5 in (102.9 cm) above the top surface of the inner ring
- Tennis ball hangs from the ceiling, directly above the center of the platform, and can be raised or lowered to verify centered position of the participant
- Drive motors for the two rings: 2 NPC Robotics NPC-41250 12 VDC motors

- LCD on background: Soundstream VHR-76 7” TFT-LCD Wide Headrest Monitor (includes RCA/composite input) (17.8 cm diagonal)
- Camera used to drive LCD: Q-See QOCDC Nightvision Color CCD Camera with built-in infrared illuminators (RCA/composite out)
- Fill lights: Photoflex Starlite (500W, 120V) with a SilverDome nxt 12x16x9” (30x41x23cm) soft box – aimed horizontally inward toward the center of the platform, – center of lamp 149.9 cm (59”) above platform
- Spot light: Lowel Pro-light (125W, 120V) – located 82 inches (208.? cm) above the top surface of outer ring, and aimed at subject’s face
- Camera: Canon Optura 60 digital camcorder with IEEE1394 (Firewire), white balance and metering information
- Computer: Apple Dual G4 1.0 GHz, 512 MB RAM with IEEE 1394 (Firewire) port.
