Naming conventions of the files within the FacePix(30) package

The images in the FacePix database are supplied in Portable Network Graphics (PNG) file format. Each image in the database is named as "ClipX_Y_Z.png", where Table 1 shows the possible values for X, Y, and Z.

X'01' to '30', corresponding to the 30 people.
Y'pose' or 'light' or 'darklight'
'pose'Face images captured from various pose angles, with an ambient light source only.
'light'Frontal face images captured with a point light source over a range of illumination angles (+90 to -90 degrees) AND an ambient light source.
'darklight'Frontal face images captured with a point light source over a range of illumination angles (+90 to -90 degrees) but NO ambient light source.
ZPose angle or illumination angle, which ranges from 90 (meaning +90) to -90 degrees, with no padding 0 preceding single-digit values.

Examples of file names:
Clip20_pose_90.png corresponds to the left profile view of person number 20, captured with the camera placed at +90 degrees from the frontal.

Clip05_light_86.png corresponds to the image of person number 5, taken with the point light source at +86 degrees from the frontal, with an ambient light source.

Clip01_darklight_-10.png corresponds to the image of person number 1, taken with the point light source at -10 degrees from the frontal, with no ambient light source.

Organization of the files within the FacePix(30) package
The images are organized in the downloadable FacePix(30) package in the following directory structure:
